02.21 Tourguide Harlem Hip-Hop Tours

DESCRIPTION: Harlem Hip-Hop Tours is a company dedicated to
providing
fun and educational tours of Harlem and the hip-hop industry
to elementary, junior high, and high school students. Our
tours are approximately 6 hours long (10am - 4pm), operate
throughout the year, and typically include the following
venues and activities: The Apollo Theater , The Hip-Hop
Culture Center , Music and TV studio tours , Tours of Harlem, Columbia University tours,
Bowling excursions at Harlem Lanes

QUALIFICATIONS: Harlem Hip-Hop Tours is currently seeking
charismatic individuals to lead the company's school tours.
Tour Leaders will be responsible for greeting school groups
upon their arrival in Harlem and shepherding them through the
scheduled events of the day. Specifically, Tour Leaders
liaise with the guides associated with each activity/venue to
ensure that the tour runs smoothly and that the students
begin and end each activity in a timely manner. Tour Leaders
must be trustworthy, poised, amiable, and have experience
interacting with students. Applicants with prior experience
as camp counselors, teachers, etc. are preferred. Tour
Leaders will be compensated $120 per tour. Please forward

DURATION: Approximately 6 hours, varying days
