The Art Train
The Art Train takes place on five consecutive Saturday afternoons every semester. All members of the Columbia University community are invited to participate in these FREE guided tours, led by graduate and PhD students from the Visual Art and Art History & Archaeology Departments. Your pair of expert docents will lead you on an exciting 2-3-hr walking conversation to the hottest gallery districts and museums throughout New York City, followed by an option to join the group for an under-$10 lunch or coffee at a local site.
Due to the overwhelming popularity of previous Art Trains, we will be offering 2 overlapping Art Train tours on each date.

Following in the steps of Art Train, our expert Music Train docents will be selected from our very own Columbia Music and Ethnomusicology Departments to guide you to the best jazz, classical, and international concerts we can find--all at no cost to Columbia community participants. |
